南韓保健福祉部9日表示，感染中東呼吸症候群（MERS）死亡又增1人，使得死亡病例增至7人，確診病例達到95起。

保健福祉部表示，MERS已增加8起新病例，使目前病例總數達到95起，較昨日通報的日增23起為少。但是有1名病患死亡，成為第7起死亡病例。

南韓聯合新聞通訊社報導，第7名死亡者為第47例的68歲女性確診患者，她患有心臟病，因呼吸困難而於5月27至28日住進首爾市三星首爾醫院急診室，被第14例確診患者所感染，在隔離治療中病情惡化而死亡。

報導指出，新增8起MERS確診病例，首爾市三星首爾醫院確診患者僅有3例，疫情蔓延呈現緩和現象，但是首爾峨山醫院、首爾汝矣島聖母醫院、翰林大學東灘醫院、建陽大學醫院都出現了確診患者。
