獲得國民黨中常會提名為總統參選人的立法院副院長洪秀柱訪美意願不高，外界關注黨主席朱立倫是否會代為前往。對此，朱立倫今天(23日)表示，這須由競選總部進行深入討論，目前還沒討論到這個問題，若有結論會再對外說明。
可望獲得國民黨正式提名為總統參選人的立法院副院長洪秀柱22日表示，由於大選時間緊迫，她訪問美國的機率不太高，外界關注力勸洪秀柱訪美的黨主席朱立倫是否可能代為前往。
對此，朱立倫23日受訪時表示，這需要由洪秀柱競選總部進行深入討論，但目前尚未討論相關議題，若有結論，會再對外說明。他說：『(原音)謝謝你們想得那麼快，這個還是要競選總部來做深入的討論。(記者：是有可能的嗎？就是代替她出訪美國？)還沒有討論，還沒有討論，我們討論後有結論，再跟大家報告。』
